Congregation Chevra Tehillim is established.
1885
Founded by some members of Congregation Shomre Beth Abraham, it meets in Cockerel Hall at 287 Hanover Street in 1893, a building that at one time houses two shuls and a Talmud Torah. The congregation moves to 122 Salem Street in 1899 and at 44 Salem Street in 1900. The congregation merges into Shaari Jerusalem in 1903.
